Today our adventure begins! Start early in the morning and drive for approximately 2.5 hours by private vehicle to Puerto Chale. Get ready for your first whale watching trip: for about 2 hours, you will visit the place where gray whales hang out. Marvel at the sight of these gentle giants and learn about their biology and social behavior. Head back to shore, have a delicious homemade lunch and then embark again on a second whale watching excursion. We come back to La Paz at around 17:00. The evening is free for you to explore La Paz.

Please note that interactions with whales are at their own choice. We will not force them or pester them to come closer to us. All visits are made with the utmost respect for wildlife.

Today you will learn about La Paz bay, visit Balandra Beach to see the famous stone mushroom and snorkel with sea lions at La Lobera. Interactions are at the sea lion’s will and we never encroach or use any encouraging method to get them closer. Sea lions are curious by nature and they enjoy putting up a show, especially the young pups. Snorkeling time is limited to 20-30 minutes for protection of the local wildlife. Enjoy lunch and beach time at Playa Ensenada Grande. Head back to the port at around 17:00.

PLEASE NOTE: All of our activities are done with the well-being and preservation of wildlife in mind. We aim to educate; never to exploit, annoy or hurt our fellow earthlings. We NEVER encroach, chase or force ANY animal to interact with us. Our utmost priority is the welfare and conservation of all fauna we visit. They choose whether or not they interact with us or even come close. We cannot guarantee up-close encounters. Whales decide if and when they want to be touched. As for the sea lions: they can touch US but we can never touch THEM. Failure to abide by this rule will result in automatic removal from the activity. There is ZERO tolerance to wildlife harassment--- this applies to both adults and children ALIKE
